The Send & Win for Christmas TT Promotion is sponsored by Western Union Financial Services, Inc. located at 7001 E. Belleview, Denver, CO 80237, USA (“Sponsor/Western Union”), and administered GraceKennedy Money Services (“GKMS”), an Authorized Agent of Western Union in Trinidad & Tobago is participating in the promotion as a promotional partner for the collection of participant data and publicity. Both Western Union and GKMS are responsible for the administration and management of the draw.
Promotional Period
The Promotion period begins on November 24, 2025 and ends on December 21, 2025.

Drawings will be held on December 3,10,17,24,31
Prize Presentation Dates
Prizes will be awarded on December 6,13, 20, 27 of 2025, and January 3, 2026
Eligibility and Participation Requirements.
- Allcustomers who send a Western Union international money transfer from a retail location in Trinidad (“Qualifying Transaction”) during the ‘Promotional Period’ and accepts the Terms and Conditions of the Send & Win for Christmas TT Promotion.
- Only international money transfers sent for the following GKMS locations will be eligible for respective draws.
- The Promotion is not open to: Employees, officers, and directors of Western Union, GKMS, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, and immediate family members.
Promotion rules
All Qualifying Transactions sent from Trinidad during the Promotion Periodwill be eligible for the Promotion. The ten (10) digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) that is printed on the qualified customers’receipts will be used by the Sponsor for the drawing. The drawing will be done using a random electronic system on the Drawing Dates. Nine (9) MTCNs will be chosen – three (3) winners and six (6) alternates – where alternates will be contacted if the winner does not respond.
Once the drawing has been conducted, GKMS will proceed to contact the winner by telephone using the telephone number provided at the time of sending the international Money Transfer. Sponsor will make up to two (2) attempts to contact winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, one of the alternates will be randomly selected as the winner. The drawing process will be repeated at the Sponsor’s discretion if no winners respond.
GKMS will ask the person answering the phone call to confirm his/her first and last name to verify if this is the Entrant and other questions to determine if he/she is a qualified customer. If you do agree with the foregoing, Sponsor will declare you the winner of the sweepstakes. Otherwise, a new draw will be held to select another winner. The MTCN selected as a winner in a drawing will not continue to participate in subsequent weekly drawings but is eligible for in the Grand Prize Draw.
How to Enter
Each Qualifying Transaction completed during the Promotion Period qualifies as a single entry in the draw. No purchase is necessary outside of the Qualifying Transaction. Only Qualifying Transactions made through GKMS within this period will be eligible for entry in the draw.
Customers are automatically entered by sending an international money transfer from a GKMS location listed above. There is no sign up, entry or opt in required.
Drawing and Prize Details
Western Union will manage and conduct the draw on each of the scheduled Drawing Dates. Winners will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible entries. The prizes include:
- Weekly Prizes: Three (3) Prizes of USD$200 each, payable in TTD, on each Drawing Date (December 3, 10, 17, and 24).
- Grand Prizes: Three (3) Grand Prizes of USD$400 each, payable in TTD, on the final Drawing Date (December 31).
Winners will be notified within one (1) business day after the drawing via the contact information provided. GKMS will make up to three (3) attempts to contact each winner. If there is no response after the third attempt, an alternate winner will be selected.
Prize Withdrawal and Power of Attorney
Prizes must be claimed within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of notification. Winners will need to present valid identification and fulfil any additional requirements GKMS deems necessary to verify eligibility. If a winning participant is unable to collect the prize, they may appoint a representative to do so by providing a notarized power of attorney. The acceptance and validation of any power of attorney is at the sole discretion of GKMS. Prizes are non-negotiable and cannot be transferred to other individuals without proper authorization.
Winner Selection
- Prize Winners will be selected using the drawing tools at GraceKennedy (T&T) Ltd. in Trinidad is the CIC Building, 122-124 Frederick Street, Port of Spain
- The list of qualifying customers will be ranked by random selection and contacted in that order.
- Each shortlisted customer will be called at the number(s) they have on record.
- Sponsor will make 3 attempts to contact each winner within one (1) working day after the draw.
- If the winner is unreachable, the Sponsor will contact the next customer in the order in which they were drawn. If all attempts to contact the backup winners are unsuccessful, the prize will be retained by GraceKennedy Money Services TT.
- Prize monies will be paid to the winning customers by intra-country money transfer.
Prize Conditions
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, payable in TTD using the Central Bank of Trinidad’s buying rate on the day prize is claimed. Western Union reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value should unforeseen circumstances necessitate a substitution.
Publicity and Use of Name
Winning customers will be invited to the GraceKennedy (T&T) Ltd. headquarters for a formal presentation and photo opportunity. By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity activities related to the Promotion, including the use of their name, likeness, and voice in media and marketing materials without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. This authorization for use of personal data for commercial and advertising purposes extends up to three (3) years after the end of the Promotion.
Liability and Release
Western Union, disclaim any responsibility for any loss, injury, damage, or liability resulting from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the prize, except to the extent that any such liability cannot be excluded by law; Western Union will not be responsible for the fulfilment of the obligations acquired by the Sponsor in these Regulations, nor for situations or eventualities; Western Union will not be responsible for any damage suffered to the integrity or property of the winner or third parties that are caused by virtue of this promotion or during the enjoyment of the prize. The entrant(s) by agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Rules release from liability the Sponsor, affiliated companies and others involved in this Promotion, as well as their officers, employees, representatives or agents for any damages arising directly or indirectly as a result of their participation in the Promotion, or resulting directly or indirectly from their acceptance, withdrawal or possession of the prize. Both the terms and conditions of the Rules and/or the prizes are subject to change due to acts of God, force majeure or other justified cause, provided that the Sponsor notifies the competent authority, if applicable, in writing of such
Additional Liability Disclaimer: Western Union, its agents, and affiliated entities are not responsible for accidents, illnesses, medical expenses, transportation expenses, or any other expenses and/or liabilities that may arise in connection with the withdrawal, use, or enjoyment of the prize.
Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation of Promotion
Western Union reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time without liability if circumstances arise that prevent fair or safe execution. This includes instances of abuse or breach of good faith. The Promotion will be deemed terminated when Western Union or the Agents expressly or verbally communicates and removes the Rules from the participating agencies and Facebook pages from the forms. They are not obliged to make any further communication in any other medium after termination.
Data Protection and Privacy
All personal data collected will be processed in compliance with the Barbados Data Protection Act and Western Union’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.westernunion.com/global/en/privacy-statement.html. Participants have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data, as permitted under applicable law.
Relationship between the parties
Nothing in this Promotion shall be construed as creating a relationship between the parties other than that arising from a normal course of trade. No Participant in the Promotion, by virtue of being a Participant, acquires the status of employee, representative, or agent of the Sponsor or the Agents. With the fulfillment of the obligations established in these Regulations, the relationship between the parties in its entirety will end. The prize will be awarded as a stipulation of a free nature on the occasion of the Promotion, under no circumstances should the prize be interpreted as consideration for an employment relationship.
Legal actions
The Sponsor and the legal entities that own the Western Union brand reserve the right to initiate the legal actions they deem appropriate in the event of detecting any irregularity in relation to the development of the Promotion established in these regulations.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and the Promotion shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Promotion shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.
Taxes and Additional Expenses
Any taxes or expenses that may arise in connection with winning the prize, including those related to the collection or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winning participant. This includes all present and future taxes and other incidental expenses.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these terms or any attempt to manipulate the Promotion will result in immediate disqualification from participation.
This is a random drawing intended exclusively for Western Union customers, which is not intended to influence, and should not influence, any of their decisions or actions in order to directly or indirectly benefit Western Union. The promotion is carried out in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulations in relation to the prevention of bribery, corruption and other misconduct, in accordance with international standards and applicable local legislation.
